Water supply

Both surface water and rainwater will provide water for consumptive and sanitary use. Rainwater that has fallen on the roof is collected and stored in a reservoir to be used in non-purified form for the toilet and washing machine. Surface water is filtered to provide clean water for consumption, food preparation and personal hygiene. The pure water that will develop in the fuel cell during the process of hydrogen oxidation will also be used for drinking water. Waste water is purified on board in three sedimentation and purification tanks, after which process it will comply with all current regulations for drainage onto surface water.
